Cost of Entry

The cost of entry is £60 and must be paid to complete entry.

This will give you entry to the contest and a 3 day pass to the Norcalympia Showroom for the Contest//ival plus all other event rooms and the After Show Parties.

Seating in the main event room is assigned for the entrant and any guests.

Heat & Semi-Final Information

Contestants will perform two tracks of their own choice in each round.

Tracks must be in digital format only and uploaded prior to the event, these will then be vetted by our team of experts.

If tracks have any silence, then this will be played, it is in your interest to ensure this is not the case.

Intros/Outros are NOT permitted.

Medleys are permitted, though only if they are the same arrangement that Elvis has performed.

Backing tracks with "lead vocals" on are NOT permitted, if you are found to be using tracks with lead vocals on, you will be instantly disqualified from the contest.

CD's & Mini-Discs will NOT be used.

Please try to ensure tracks are normalised to 0db as this will make the sound experience for the audience much better.

Contestants who qualify for the FINAL will perform two songs backed live by The KING of The Castle house band.

Accommodation

All accommodation is now booked directly with Britannia Hotels Central Reservations Team

The cost is £153 per person for three nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast

or £120 per person for three nights Bed & Breakfast

Guest Pass

If you are bringing a guest with you, they will need to purchase a guest pass. the pass costs £50 and will grant the guest the same access to all events and after parties as the contest entrant.
